How Appetizing Alcoholic Commercials are Misleading People
You know, I am beginning to feel sorry for alcoholics trying to stay sober and on their “12 Step” program with all of these TV commercials hyping drinking. You see the trend for the commercials to have all the pretty people dancing and having fun drinking in the commercials. Not one person appears to be intoxicated but sharply dressed and having a good time.
This is the popular Bacardi Mojito commercial that had people researching the brand just so they can find out the song playing in the commercial.
…and with the liquor industry going absolutely crazy turning out soooooooooo many different flavors of rum, vodka, whiskeys, martinis, the temptation to drink must be more fierce than ever to fight off!
These are some of the newly advertised alcoholic beverages of 2013:
Bacardi “Rock Coconut” is described on the website as “an intense infusion of exotic coconut and nutrient-rich coconut water that has a deliciously unique flavor unlike anything else.”
This Bailey’s Irish Cream Liqueur ad shows the beautifully designed bottles complimented by the flavors (Mint Chocolate, Original Flavor, and Creme Caramel) added to this popular liquor.
And these young folks in college and in the clubs instead of just wanting to get a buzz, are blacking out from over doing it! And that is why so many of these young women are winding up in some strange guy’s bed with her panties over her head! The MOTHERS AGAINST DRUNK DRIVING organization must be having a fit! If your kids are coming home drunk…or you are coming home drunker than your kids…You need to get it together and get some help!
